Pranayama, why and how?
Pranayama, why and how?
A practice ancient, profound and divine.
With every breath, a sacred vow,
Unveiling the secrets of body and mind.
Inhale, exhale, a rhythmic dance,
Conscious breath, a gateway to bliss.
A journey within, a sacred trance,
Pranayama, the key to inner peace.
Why do we practice, this art of breath?
To harness life force, to find harmony.
To calm the mind, dispel all unrest,
Pranayama, the path to serenity.
With each inhale, energy we receive,
Revitalizing, refreshing our being.
Exhaling toxins, letting go, we achieve,
A cleansing process, profound and freeing.
But how do we practice, this ancient art?
With focus and discipline, a devoted mind.
Sitting in stillness, allowing a fresh start,
Exploring the depths within, we find.
Breathe deep, dear soul, expand your chest,
Feel the air, as it flows in and out.
Witness the rise and fall, be fully blessed,
Pranayama, a practice, without a doubt.

The Kerala Story
The "Kerala Story," a misleading tale,
Of forced conversions and women for sale,
A fake narrative, meant to derail,
Kerala's harmony, where all religions prevail.
The bourgeois culture, decadent and sly,
Promotes the status quo with lies.
But we, the workers, know the truth,
And through our struggle, we'll break through.
Let us raise our voices, loud and clear,
And stand together without fear.
For our cause is just and right,
And in the end, we'll win the fight.
We'll build a culture, scientific and bold,
One that values unity and holds,
Class affinity and consciousness high,
As we march on, side by side.
So raise class struggle, and let it ring,
For a better world, we'll strive and sing.
And though the road ahead is long,
We'll keep fighting, ever strong.

The Kerala story
This is the place where I can have beef
with my friends at the table, with their pork and alcohol, and yet,, have no beef with them.
This is the place, as someone said,
that even atheists call 'God's Own Country'.
We fuse opposites, believer and non-believer
wet and dry, and 'forced conversion', an oxymoron
like everything else.
Our minds, as vast as our beaches, and our values, as deep as our backwaters,
and our landslides, our victories,
in each godly act
that makes this 'God's Own Country'.
This is the place
where we know our math: 3 is not equal to 32,000.
But equally, we know, 3 votes are as important as 32,000.
This the place where the ballot is stronger than the bullet'.
This is the place
where Muslim parents marry off Hindu children and a Hindu brother
protects a Muslim's shop from being destroyed.
This is the place where your profit
becomes my business.
This is the place
where we write our own stories through our own actions, not with rhetoric that lasts for a season.
This is the place
where we chose democracy over theocracy for a reason.
This, my friends, is the Kerala Story!

Godi Media Moordabad
Godi media moordabad,
Their loyalty can't be had.
They spew lies with every breath,
Their words are a form of death.
They serve their masters with no shame,
Truth and justice are not their aim.
They distort facts and spread hate,
Their agenda is to manipulate.
But we won't be fooled by their game,
Their deceit and lies we'll proclaim.
We'll stand for truth and justice always,
And expose their lies in every way.
Godi media moordabad,
Their betrayal won't go unclad.
We'll fight for a free and fair press,
And their lies we'll always address.

(Reminiscences of Marx and Engels)

*Poem on Karl Marx (5th May)*
In a time of changing tides, a thinker emerged,
A voice that echoed, and the masses surged.
Karl Marx, his name forever etched in history's page,
A beacon of revolution, an intellectual sage.
With fiery words and a pen so keen,
He delved into a system, capitalist and mean.
He saw the divisions, the exploitation, the strife,
And sought to reshape the fabric of life.
He spoke of labor's chains, the proletariat's plight,
The struggle for justice, a relentless fight.
For Marx believed in a world more fair,
Where equality and solidarity would be our shared affair.
In Das Kapital, his manifesto profound,
He dissected the mechanics, the flaws he found.
He painted a picture of a society unbound,
From class distinctions, where true freedom would be found.
The workers, he declared, held the key,
To a future devoid of oppression's decree.
Their labor, their sweat, the foundation of wealth,
But in the hands of the few, it brought naught but stealth.
Marx dreamed of a world where power was shared,
Where all had a voice, where all were cared.
A communist vision, where abundance was plenty,
Where each would contribute, and each would have plenty.
Yet his ideas met resistance, opposition did rise,
Critics scorned and doubted, with skeptical eyes.
But still, his words resonated through the ages,
Igniting minds, inciting rebellion in courageous stages.
For Marx, it wasn't just theory or abstract thought,
It was a call to action, a struggle he sought.
A call for solidarity, a demand for change,
To break the chains of oppression, rearrange.
Though history unfolded, and the world has turned,
The essence of Marx's message still brightly burned.
For he challenged the powerful, the status quo,
And taught us to question, to resist and grow.
So let us remember this visionary's name,
And the legacy he left, forever aflame.
Karl Marx, the advocate for the downtrodden,
A craftsman of revolution, whose words still embolden.

Wrestler Protest
In arenas filled with fervent cries,
Their message echoes through the skies,
"We're not just wrestlers, we're warriors true,
Fighting for dignity, for me and you."
Their struggle, a metaphor for the fight,
Against oppression's suffocating might,
Through holds and locks, they break the chains,
Igniting hope where despair remains.
And as they grapple with hearts aflame,
We witness a battle, we feel no shame,
For in their fight, we see the truth,
That dignity is worth the wrestle, forsooth.
