In the realm of power and might,
Where wealth and influence take flight,
Amidst the leaders and the affluent,
Who bears the mark of corruption's dent?
A question that's hard to decipher,
For each one is entangled in the mire.
The capitalists with their fortunes vast,
Their greed and opulence unsurpassed,
Exploiting the laborers, the common folk,
Leaving behind scars and dreams broke.
Their insatiable hunger for wealth,
Leads them down a treacherous stealth.
Then come the politicians, oh so sly,
With promises that often belie,
They dance upon the stage of deceit,
Seeking power, their egos to meet.
Corruption weaves its tangled web,
As they weave their tales, a painful ebb.
The bureaucrats, the wielders of might,
In their ivory towers, out of sight,
They hold the strings of authority,
But often misuse it with audacity.
Their actions sow seeds of discontent,
Leaving the innocent to lament.
And let's not forget the holy men,
Cloaked in robes, preaching in their den,
Some guided by pure intent and grace,
While others hide behind a false embrace.
Exploiting faith, feeding on fears,
Leaving behind a trail of tears.
So who among them is the vilest, indeed?
The most corrupt, the one we should impede?
In truth, it's hard to single one out,
For they all partake in the same bout.
The web of corruption knows no bounds,
As each one's hands in guilt are found.
In this world of power and might,
Where darkness often overshadows light,
We must rise above the wicked game,
And strive for justice, devoid of blame.
For it's not just one, but all together,
Who bear the burden, come whatever.
In unity, we must seek to rise,
Against the corruption that belies,
And build a world of fairness and grace,
Where virtue thrives, and evil will erase.
For it's the collective responsibility we bear,
To create a world that's just and fair.
