कौन आज़ाद हुआ ? किसके माथे से गुलामी की सियाही छुटी ? A poem written by Ali Sardar Jafri was performed at Dissent by Vedi, of The Aahvaan Project. Never, at Soulstuff, have we seen an audience so consumed by a performance, but also so aware of what it shifted in them. _ Dissent was an afternoon in which we wore our voices as collars against fascism. It aimed to be an event where we boasted spines refusing to bend under the whiplash of authority. As Soulstuff turned a year old - to dissent was to opine, to let our feet be sucked into the quagmire of political tyranny, with a voice that may quaver but never wavers. _ Soulstuff is a Delhi-based artist collective which aims to curate a space where artists could speak about the journey behind their art, the etchings on their soul, of love, of art, and of their obsessive love of art. More than curating art, Soulstuff is an attempt to create space. _ Artist featured: Vedi Sinha, The Aahvaan Project (@theaahvaanproject) Video shot by: Abbas Fazal, Minority Media Center Raphael Martin (@rapha.yell) Video Edited by: Raphael Martin Location Courtesy: Anhad Offices, Jamia Nagar Special gratitude to: Shabnam Hashmi ma'am __ Follow us on Instagram at:
